What the Campaign Tag Planner does

The Campaign Tag Planner is Tagzy's most complete campaign tool. It takes seven inputs — campaign, brand, topic, audience, location, event and your own custom terms — and returns a structured tag family plus a plain keyword layer for ad copy and captions.

How it works

Each input is combined with the campaign name using deterministic templates and rendered in PascalCase, which keeps multi-word campaign tags readable. Empty inputs simply produce no group, so the output stays clean.

  1. 1Name the campaign exactly as your team will refer to it.
  2. 2Fill in the brand and any other inputs that apply.
  3. 3Add custom terms for anything the templates miss.
  4. 4Generate the structured tag family.
  5. 5Pick one primary tag, then a handful of supporting tags per channel.

Worked example

Campaign 'Summer Launch' with brand 'Example Brand' generates #SummerLaunch, #ExampleBrandSummerLaunch and #ExampleBrand, plus location and audience variants when supplied.

Who uses it

  • Briefing a team on one consistent campaign tag
  • Coordinating tags across paid and organic channels
  • Planning a multi-city or multi-event campaign
  • Documenting the tag family in one shareable export

Best practices

  • Choose exactly one primary tag and repeat it everywhere.
  • Keep the primary tag short and easy to spell out loud.
  • Search every candidate on each platform before launch.
  • Export the plan so the whole team works from one document.

Honest limitations

These are suggestions generated from your own inputs. Tagzy cannot check whether a tag is already in use, trademarked, or associated with unrelated content, and it shows no reach or engagement figures.

Frequently asked questions

Are these tags verified as available?
No. Tagzy has no platform access — search each tag before adopting it.
Why PascalCase?
Campaign tags are usually multi-word, and capitalised boundaries make them readable and accessible.
What is the plain keyword layer for?
Ad copy, captions and briefs where hashtags would look out of place.
How many tags should a campaign use?
One primary plus two or three supporting tags per channel is a common, manageable structure.
