What the Prefix Keyword Generator does

The Prefix Keyword Generator prepends one word or phrase to every entry in a pasted list — a fast bulk edit for intent words, brand names or location prefixes.

How it works

Your list is split on new lines and commas, each entry is trimmed, and the prefix is joined in front with a single space. Duplicates are removed from the output.

  1. 1Paste your keyword list, one per line.
  2. 2Type the prefix you want to apply.
  3. 3Generate the prefixed list.
  4. 4Scan for any awkward joins.
  5. 5Copy or download the result.

Worked example

Prefix 'buy' applied to 'shoes' and 'bags' gives 'buy shoes' and 'buy bags'.

Who uses it

  • Adding transactional intent words to product terms
  • Prefixing a brand name across a keyword set
  • Creating location-led variants for local pages
  • Tagging a batch of terms for a campaign

Best practices

  • Keep the prefix short — one or two words.
  • Run the Deduplicator if you merge prefixed and original lists.
  • Avoid stacking multiple prefixes in one run.
  • Check that the prefix makes grammatical sense with all entries.

Honest limitations

The prefix is applied to every line without exception; the tool cannot decide when a prefix does not fit a particular keyword.
