What the Related Keyword Generator does
The Related Keyword Generator widens a single keyword into neighbouring phrases by attaching common qualifiers and by splitting multi-word seeds into their component concepts.
How it works
Two passes run locally: qualifier attachment (modifiers before, suffixes after) and component extraction, which isolates each word of a multi-word seed so you can see the adjacent themes it belongs to.
- 1Enter one keyword — multi-word seeds give richer output.
- 2Set a result limit.
- 3Generate and read the related terms group.
- 4Check the word components group for wider themes.
- 5Export or send to a board for grouping.
Worked example
'digital marketing' returns 'digital marketing tips', 'best digital marketing' and component themes such as 'marketing strategy'.
Who uses it
- Adding supporting terms to an article outline
- Finding sub-themes inside a broad seed
- Building internal-link anchor variations
- Widening a thin keyword list
Best practices
- Use a two- or three-word seed for the best component split.
- Remove qualifiers that make no sense in your niche.
- Run the Keyword Deduplicator if you merge several runs.
- Group the survivors with the Cluster Builder.
Honest limitations
Relatedness here is lexical, not semantic — the tool matches word patterns rather than meaning, and it reports no popularity data.
Frequently asked questions
- Are these synonyms?
- Not exactly. They are adjacent phrasings built from your seed, not a thesaurus lookup.
- Why do I see single words?
- Multi-word seeds are split into components so you can spot broader themes worth covering.
- Can I combine runs?
- Yes — paste several runs into the Keyword Deduplicator to merge them cleanly.
