Seasonal Content Tag Planning
Prepare seasonal tags early and retire them on time.

Plan before the season starts
Seasonal content published during the season is competing at peak. Preparing tags and content several weeks early lets you publish at the beginning of the window rather than the middle of it.
Keep an evergreen anchor
Pair seasonal tags with your usual core tags. If a post only carries seasonal tags, it becomes invisible the moment the season ends.
Mind the hemisphere
Seasonal vocabulary is not universal. If your audience spans hemispheres, choose by climate and context rather than by calendar month, or you will be posting about cosy autumn evenings to people in midsummer.
Retire on schedule
Put a date in the calendar to remove seasonal tags from your saved sets. Stale seasonal tagging is one of the most visible signs of an unattended account.
